Our Argentine friends consider the last three versions the more “porteño” styled ones, and regard version No. 8 as being “a very lovely one”.

However, these last three versions are experimental recordings, each of them lasting one and a half minutes approximately, that is, almost half of a song’s normal duration. This means that only the first part is performed. The melody repeats in the second part of the song.

The assistance of our Argentine friends was very useful to develop the “criollo” style here in Brazil, with more advanced technical resources.

Private or institutional sponsorship is welcome, as this will enable us to obtain first quality commercial recordings.
